A thought for the people of Haiti

In 1989 I was at High School in San Francisco. On October 17th a 7.1 on the Richter scale shook the city. Just when you think your world is certain and an earthquake comes and rips foundations from under your feet.

We really don't know we have lived. It takes something like this to wake people up. Take action. 100 UN staff thought that they were going home at the end of a days work contributing to a small country in need.

You never know when. There are always things you have no control of. The only part of this existence you have control of is what you think and feel.

Thoughts to the people of Haiti.
