Trained Brain client Shola Ameobi is ecstatic to be back in play after a career threatening injury was rectified in Colorado. Ameobi had the operation at the end of last year to clear up the problem that had troubled him for two years, and marked his comeback by scoring for the reserves in their 5-1 victory against Middlesbrough's second string on Tuesday.
Shola is set to be back on form and will be looking for his comeback goal in the Premiership very soon! Shola talks about his rehabilitation: “You have to set yourself targets. When they told me I needed the operation, the first thing I said was 'can I play again this season? You have to give yourself that incentive to keep working hard. It's tough at times being on the sidelines and I think it helps you to keep your focus. You need to be focused if you're going to work hard and I've been delighted with how my rehab has gone."
