It seems its Gee's year for 4X, having won round 1 of the UCI Nissan World Cup he had the leaders jersey to protect on Saturdays finals. Dan and Gee both made mistakes in qualifying and were therefore having low gate choice. This meant overtaking from the outside was the only way through, the pair are arguably the best when it comes to making moves, they proved this to the Swiss crowd in the early rounds with some amazing riding. He crossed the line in 2nd and advanced to his 2nd final of the year! With the overall wide open as the World Series moves to Mt St Anne, Canada all eyes will be on Gee to regain the jersey.
