Parry's Open Delight

Bolton golfer Steve Parry's dreams came true when he qualified for this years Open at Carnoustie. After having a number of consultations with Trained Brain, the 28-year-old shot a two-round total of 135 to snatch one of only three places on offer at Panmure in the final qualifying round. Parry, a member at Bolton Golf Club and deputy professional at Astley driving range, returned two superb rounds of 68 and 67 to book his place alongside the world's top stars.
